Top 5 Games to Watch on TV this Thanksgiving Day

1. Ole Miss @ Mississippi State (Egg Bowl) 7/6 (c) on ESPN

The Egg Bowl is a classic rivalry game between the 2 main schools in the State of Mississippi. This game happens every year on the same day, which is Thanksgiving. This rivalry game dates back to 1901 and Ole Miss leads the all-time series 64-45-6. The last two seasons Ole Miss has come out on top, but this year the Bulldogs are at home and present a real threat to the Rebels. This could be a great game to end your Thanksgiving Day festivities.

2. Giants @ Cowboys 4:30/3:30 (c) on FOX

NFC East battle will be held in Dallas as one of the great traditional Thanksgiving Day games happens this afternoon. The Cowboys have played on Thanksgiving Day 55 times. This is a game where each team is going to be hungry for a huge win to boost their chances to make the playoffs as they are competing in the toughest division in the NFL right now.

3. Any of the World Cup Games

The most viewed sporting event in the world will continue on Thanksgiving Day. There will be 4 great games going on from early in the morning to late at night. For those that are just trying to stay in tune with the big worldwide event it wouldn't be a bad idea to have some soccer on TV during the day.

4. Bills @ Lions 12:30/11:30 (c) on CBS

The Bills are 7-3 this year continuing to prove that they are among the top teams in the NFL and once again a true contender to win it all. The Lions on the other hand are in the middle of a rebuild but will continue their tradition much like the Cowboys of playing on Thanksgiving Day. This will be the Lions 53rd time playing on Turkey Day.

5. Alabama vs Michigan State - 10:30/9:30(c) onESPN

Some college hoops on the popular ESPN slogan of Feast Week will continue with the opening round of the Phil Knight Invitational. We are going to get to see two amazing ball clubs. Michigan State has proven that with some huge wins so far this year. They are going to be much better than we all thought. On the other hand, Alabama has looked very impressive, but is yet to play someone to challenge them. A big note for this game is Michigan State may be missing two key starters in this one due to injury. Could be a huge loss for the Spartans, but regardless should be a great game to finish off a great Thanksgiving Day.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
