Buffalo Bills (7-3) @ Detroit Lions (4-6)

BILLS -9.5 O/U 54.5

It's been a crazy week for the Bills and their fans, but they are coming off a home win against the Cleveland Browns 31-23 and they carry that home win into a road game being played in the same stadium they won their home game in last week. Confused??

Ok stay with me: After traveling to Detroit for a home game to play the Cleveland Browns because of record amounts of snowfall in the Buffalo area last week, the Buffalo Bills stayed in Detroit all week to take on the Lions for today's game on the road in Detroit.

BUFFALO BILLS (7-3)

AFC EAST

Playing in one of the closest divisions in the league, the Bills are currently tied atop the East with the Dolphins and are closely followed by the Patriots (playing tonight) and the Jets, both just a game back.

The Bills Offense is led by QB Josh Allen who has thrown for 2,930 yards which ranks 2nd in the league. He has a 64.7% completion rate while passing for 21 TDs along with 10 INTs on the year. His top target is WR Stefon Diggs who ranks 2nd in the league with 76 receptions and he ranks 3rd in the league with 1,033 yards to go with 8 TDs.

The Bills Defense has 13 INTs this season ranking 1st in the league, tied with the Eagles on the year.

K Tyler Bass has made 21 FGs this season, 2nd in the league.

December presents a tough stretch for the Bills, so a win today will certainly help in the closely contested AFC East division. After today's game, Buffalo faces back-to-back-to-back division rivals.

DETROIT LIONS (4-6)

NFC NORTH

The Lions have won 3 in a row and still remain 4 games back of NFC North division leader the Minnesota Vikings (playing tonight). They are coming off a big win against the New York Giants 31-18 on the road and have been trending in the right direction over the last 4 games. Looking at their schedule, 4 of their losses have come by 4 points or less this year. They are not out of the playoff conversation yet, but their mojo may run out with a Thanksgiving Day loss today at home.

The Offense is led by QB Jared Goff who has thrown for 2.442 yards with a 63.9% completion rate. Goff does spread the ball around, but his top target is Amon-Ra St. Brown who has 56 receptions for 594 yards on the year.

The rushing attack is led by Jamaal Williams who averages 4.2 yards per carry totaling 668 yards on the year.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Both teams can score points, the difference in this game will be how the Detroit Defense handles the passing game of the Bills. If Detroit can shut down Diggs, they may have a chance to keep this game close. Add two turnovers and having the ability to control the clock today, this will be the perfect Thanksgiving recipe for the Lions if they want to pull this one out today.
